We respect our customer’s privacy rights. Please read this privacy policy carefully.

D.O.C. Restaurant Group, LLC (doing business as “A16”) respects and protects the privacy of our customers and those who use our websites. The following Privacy Policy provides details about how your personal information is collected and used. This privacy statement applies to A16 websites, products and services that are located in, but not limited to the a16sf.com domain. This Privacy Policy governs only the personally identifiable information (“PII”) collected by the Site and does not cover any such information collected in any other manner or for any other purpose

Information Collection and Use

This web site is offered and made available only to users 13 years of age or older who reside in the United States of America, its territories and possessions (“U.S.”) If you are not yet 13 years old or the required greater age for certain features (such as ordering products) or you do not reside in the U.S., please discontinue using this web site immediately, or if, for any reason, you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not participate in the features, activities and services that require you to provide your Personal Information. Both the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service Agreement are legally binding on all users.

A16 is the sole owner of PII collected on this web site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement; except that we reserve the right to share your PII with restaurants that are affiliated with the shareholders of A16 and we reserve the right to sell your PII in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of most of A16’s assets. A16 collects information from our users at several different points on our website. Our website offers opportunities for visitors to register for promotional and informational mailings about A16 or our affiliated restaurants. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings at any time.

Sharing and Usage

Except as set forth above in this Privacy Policy, we will never share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties for their promotional use. Occasionally, we enter into contracts with third parties so that they can assist us in servicing you (for example without limitation, we use third parties to manage our email list and newsletter; to handle online reservations, and to process credit cards in the event that you purchase a gift certificate or book using this website). Our contracts prohibit third party service providers from using any of your PII for their own purposes, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information we provide to them. Lastly, we may disclose or report PII in limited circumstances where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required under the law. For example, we may be required to disclose PII to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement authorities, to comply with a legal process such as court order, subpoena, search warrant, or law enforcement request.

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

if you are a resident of the State of California, under the California Civil Code, you have the right to request from companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed Personal Information during the preceding year for direct marketing purposes. Alternatively, the law provides that if a company has a Privacy Policy that gives either an opt-out (which we may sometimes refer to as “unsubscribe”) or opt-in choice for use of your Personal Information by third parties (such as advertisers or affiliated companies) for marketing purposes, the company may instead provide you with information on how to exercise your disclosure choice options.

A16 qualifies for the alternative option; it has a comprehensive Privacy Policy and provides you with details on how you may either opt-out or opt-in to the use of your Personal Information by third parties for direct marketing purposes. Therefore, we are not required to maintain or disclose a list of the third parties that received your Personal Information for marketing purposes during the preceding year.

If you are a California resident and request information about how to exercise your third party disclosure choices you must send a request to the following address with a preference on how our response to your request should be sent (contact form on this Site or postal mail).
